Mizzou Softball 2015
Coach Stubble Receives Reprimand from Coaches Association
Some pretty strong words from the NFCA Executive Director. As we have said, he might be a Joyless Misanthrope, but he is our Joyless Misanthrope.

We did it, you guys. Bill Carter's getting a room named after him in one form or another.
Oh, the things we love when you win...
On Ehren Earleywine's e-mail trash talk, what it takes to be a healthy super-fan, and the latest from NCAA Track & Field Regionals in Austin.
Angry emails between Missouri and Missouri St.
Missouri and Missouri State will not be playing each other in softball any time soon.
Mizzou Softball: We Always Hate the Offseason
The Tigers saw their run in the NCAA Tournament end in LA as the Bruins put their amazing offense on full display. The Beef and Switzy talk about where it all went wrong for Mizzou as they wrap up the 2015 season.
Watercooler: NCAA Track, Gadbois, dumb Big 12
Mizzou continues at the NCAA Track & Field regionals in Austin today, a rebound from Taylor Gadbois could be vital to Mizzou Softball's success in 2016, and ... of all the things to combat, Big 12, you choose home-field replays?
And now we wait
With Missouri Baseball officially missing the NCAAs, the conversation is now all about Tim Jamieson's contract status. Plus: Tori Finucane flew home with the softball team after her Super Regional injury at UCLA.
Finucane's okay, and Godzilla ran with DBs
Tori Finucane was released from the hospital after taking a line drive to the face in Mizzou's 10-6 Super Regional Loss. Plus: Mizzou Baseball probably isn't making the NCAA Tournament, and Justin Smith was ridiculous.
Game 2 and your new favorite point guard
Missouri dropped Game 1 of the softball Super Regionals, giving up late runs in a 7-4 loss to UCLA. Game 2 begins at 2:00 p.m. CT today.
Watercooler: 2009 flashbacks and respect
Mizzou Softball is in Los Angeles, the scene of its 2009 breakthrough, for another Super Regional. Meanwhile, Mizzou Baseball plays the waiting game, and WHY IS EVERYBODY RESPECTING MIZZOU FOOTBALL SO MUCH?
Mizzou Softball - Back to the Super Regionals
The Mizzou Tigers came through their Regional as the host without many scratches, winning all three games and setting up a trip to Los Angeles to take on the #7 seed UCLA Bruins for the right to extend their season in OKC.

Another opportunity to donate to Rock M's Tremendous Stubble charity drive.
Watercooler: Pinkel sharing, Anderson hiring?
Gary Pinkel is working with athletic director Mack Rhoades on facilities and sharing, Kim Anderson might make another hire, Mizzou Softball heads to the Super Regionals, and it's been 50 years since Mizzou Indoor Track won its national title.
Mizzou beats KU again, advances to Super Regional
In the deciding game of the NCAA Columbia Regional against Kansas, Mizzou maneuvered around an awkward pitching arrangement -- Paige Lowary was sick, Tori Finucane was tired, and Cheyenne Baxter was not very experienced against high-caliber opponents -- to jump out to a 7-2 lead, then hold on for dear life. Despite a late KU charge, the Tigers prevailed, 7-6. Mizzou, the overall No. 10 seed, advances to face No. 7 UCLA in next week's Super Regional. Here's the updated bracket. We'll have plenty of preview work in the coming days, but for now ... Regional title: check. Two more wins over KU: check. Not a bad weekend.
One more Border War
Mizzou Softball needs one more win over Kansas to advance to the NCAA Super Regionals.

Mizzou Softball: Previewing the Regional Round
The Tigers are home to host their 7th straight Regional round, and look to advance back to the Super Regionals after falling last season. Oh yeah...and we might get to play kU this weekend again.
The Fifth Annual #TremendousStubble Charity Drive
We've raised more than $23,000 for the MU Children's Hospital and become Best Bros with Mizzou's softball coach, and it all started with a silly Internet meme. Let's do even more this year.

This is Mizzou's 9th straight NCAA tournament appearance under Ehren Earleywine. The games will be hosted at University Field starting Friday and going through Sunday. Also, the NCAA continues to have their fun, scheduling Kansas just one series win away...
Mizzou Softball: A Great First Step
The Tigers started their post-season run with a clinical win over the Bulldogs of MIss. State. What does that get them? A heck of a top-tier match-up against Auburn in the SEC Quarterfinals
Mizzou Softball: A Season Ends and Another Begins
We get the chance to ask Switzy how his trip to MO was while reviewing our weekend against #1 Florida. Then we turn our attention towards the SEC Tournament and beyond
Mizzou Softball: Taking 2 of 3 from LSU
The Tigers had a big weekend staring them down and they did not blink, overcoming a mid-week injury to a key player to still take two of three from a very good LSU squad
Mizzou Softball: Hand-Wringing to High-Fiving
Last week started off a little slowly for the Tigers, but they found their way and were dominant once they did. Just in time for a HUGE upgrade in opponent
Mizzou Softball: Not Your Normal Softball Weekend
2-1 in the SEC is rarely bad for a softball weekend, but it is what else happened this weekend which deserves some discussion
Mizzou Softball: Are Things Looking Up?
Going to be a lighter week for the Tigers with a mid-week series already cancelled. So we will take a look back and then a look ahead to another big weekend series in the SEC
WC: Ranked Baseball, Houck SECPOW, transfer talk
Another SEC pitcher of the week award, basketball transfer talk, a nice three part series on the state of women's hoops, softball checks in on how the season's stats are piling up, and some Shane Ray talk.
Baseball Wins and the weekend recap
Mizzou Baseball takes a series from #4 Florida, Softball drops a series to #9 Georgia, Shane Ray is still projecting as a top 10 pick in the upcoming draft.
Mizzou Softball: Another weekend struggle
The Tigers faced another difficult test in SEC play, and once again struggles in the circle forced them to battle from behind. After falling short, looks to right the ship in a trip to Athens to face a strong Georgia team.
Mizzou Softball: Offense Can't Carry the Pitching
Mizzou's offense has continued to pick up steam, but the pitching has been shaky. Hopefully the first home weekend series in the SEC can help things get back on track
A great week of softball wins
The Tigers are finally wrapping up their road-heavy schedule with another SEC weekend of travel, this time down in Tennessee. Can the Tigers maintain their spot at the top of the conference table?
Talking Softball: One Heck of a Weekend
The Tigers come off a perfect road weekend in conference to find mid-week games at home and then rain threatening their weekend tournament
