Welcome back Tiger Fans to another episode of Before The Box Score with Nate Edwards and Brandon Kiley. Nate and BK are here to recap what you might have missed in the world of Mizzou Football since it is the off-season and we understand some people are not always all the way locked in. That’s what we are here for!
Also, it is never too early to take a look at the schedule even if it’s April, so let’s have some fun!
Episode Breakdown:
:15 - 30:05: There is some football stuff to talk about! It should be quiet for the most part as the off-season rolls on but there has already been some movement on the roster. Jamal Brooks has decided to transfer, as did the excellently named Z’Core Brooks. Hopefully they lands somewhere both can thrive, plus some other roster notes. ALSO, the transfer rule has been a hot button for some as of late, so what are the thoughts on that? (It can be a good thing just so you know).
30:06 - 38:40: Mizzou did add someone to their recruiting class and it is a BIG human out of Lebanon, Missouri. What is Mizzou getting out of their latest commit?
38:41 - 52:10: As for next season, the 2021 season, which is still 5 months away, ESPN released their latest FPI and according to them, Mizzou is grading out at the 34th best team in the land. That would be good for a 7-5 record. Is that good? Let’s take a look at the schedule because that is always fun and worth repeating!
52:11 - END: Let's revisit the pod scheduling idea because it is a fun one to explore. That is a good way to send you all out and leave you with some final thoughts. The BTBS crew will be back in two weeks, so we’ll see you then!
